Clare-Louise Booth BA(Hons), Dip TP, MA, MRTPI, IHBC

Clare's family have a background in building and property development/management where she developed a love for old buildings and contemporary design.  A role in the planning department at Hambleton District Council in North Yorkshire led to a degree in Town Planning, a post graduate diploma in Urban Conservation and a Masters degree in Building Conservation Studies.  This was enhanced by professional membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) in 2006 and the Institute of Historic Buildings Conservation (IHBC) in 2010.

Clare has worked in a variety of planning roles including Development Management, Planning Policy, Conservation Officer and Heritage Consultant.  She therefore has a sound understanding of the process from all perspectives and is well placed to advise on all aspects of planning in historic settings.

Clare has a great working relationship with Conservation Officers throughout North Yorkshire in particular and a personal approach really helps to engage and achieve positive results.
